Two Weeks on the Road – The Marinfloc Demo Bus Tour
Over the past two weeks, the Marinfloc demo bus has been on the road across the Netherlands and northern Germany — meeting shipowners, shipyards, and designers to share insights on water treatment, compliance, and reliability at sea.
The tour began in the Netherlands with visits to Stolt Tankers, Anthony Veder, Aurelia Design, and Groot Ship Design — companies leading the way in sustainable operations and innovative vessel design.
Week two started in Papenburg with a visit to Meyer Werft, a partner we’ve proudly worked with for more than 20 years. From there, we continued to Leer, where we met with our long-time customer Briese Schiffahrt, before heading on to Hamburg to meet with several key players in the maritime industry, including Columbia Shipmanagement, Leonhardt & Blumberg, E&S Tankers (Essberger), and BSM.
Each stop offered valuable discussions about the future of bilge water and sewage treatment — not just as systems, but as part of a larger operational and environmental responsibility. The hands-on demonstrations onboard the bus, featuring our Oily Water Separator (OWS), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), and Whitebox monitoring system, gave visitors a tangible sense of how compliance can be made both reliable and straightforward.
Despite rain, wind, and a few tight parking spaces, the response was overwhelmingly positive. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to meet us, share their perspectives, and open the door for future collaboration.
Next stop: a well-deserved service check for the bus — and then planning for the next round of visits in 2026.
Because for us, nothing replaces meeting face-to-face — and showing, not just telling, how clean water is made possible onboard.
