The expedition Cruise ship Hebridean Sky will undergo an sewage treatment system upgrade during the winter docking in Stockholm. One Marinfloc ASTS 60 sewage treatment system will be installed and the vessels holding tanks are modified and redesigned to include a moving bed bioreactor. The new system will treat all grey and black water onboard and make the vessel fully compliant to the Baltic Sea regulations that become effective in June 2021. The Hebridean Sky system includes extended sewage sludge tank holding capacity so she can manage the long Antarctic itineraries without having to discharge into the sea. We want to thank Salén ship management for selecting Marinfloc as a supplier and for their strive for a clean sea.
