Our Commitment to the Global Goals We're not only committed to these goals but are also passionate about inspiring and involving others to make a difference. Here's how we're contributing:

Goal 14 - Life Below Water The oceans, covering 70% of our planet, are vital to our very existence. However, human actions have significantly harmed these invaluable resources. Our vision, "a clean sea," aligns perfectly with this goal. Through our water treatment systems, we prevent harmful pollutants from entering the seas. Additionally, we organize annual clean-up days, removing plastic debris from the shores of Orust, where our headquarters is located.

Goal 7 - Affordable and Clean Energy Transitioning from fossil fuels to sustainable energy sources is imperative for our planet's future. At Marinfloc, we've embraced this transition by installing solar panels at our new office building, the "White House." These panels, combined with our location in Varekil, produce over 31,000 kWh annually. Any surplus energy is exported to the grid. We also support renewable energy through biofuel-powered vehicles and electric car charging stations at our facilities.

Goal 15 - Life on Land Our terrestrial ecosystems are under threat, and it's essential to promote their sustainable use. Recognizing the importance of preserving biodiversity, we've transformed a portion of our property in Varekil into a flourishing meadow. This initiative, aimed at promoting biodiversity, has already begun to attract various flora and fauna, contributing to a balanced ecosystem.

Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production Responsible consumption and production are at the heart of a sustainable future. At Marinfloc, we've adopted stringent measures to ensure the responsible use of chemicals and efficient waste management. Our equipment is designed for longevity, ensuring it serves vessels throughout their lifecycle. We also focus on renovating equipment from scrapped vessels, preparing them for reuse, emphasizing a circular economy approach.
