Our system processes bilge water, which contains oils and chemicals from the engine room, converting it into technical water for reuse. This approach supports reduced pollution in sensitive areas and makes efficient use of onboard waste.
How Does It Work?
Our CD unit consistently pre-treats the bilge water to a maximum of 3 ppm oil content level and work in tandem with a Reverse Osmosis unit. This combination ensures that bilge water is not only separated effectively but is also converted into technical water suitable for recycling onboard. It's worth noting that these membranes are particularly sensitive to oil and grease, underscoring the importance of the Marinfloc CD unit's pre-treatment.
